Over 30 years of anarchist writing from Ireland listed under hundreds of topics
Unfortunately, when making the most recent Radio Solidairity program, we couldn't fit in all the interviews that we did for the show. In the show we were showing how the Irish Catholic church contolled and dictated Social policy for the most part at the behest of the State itself.
That was illustrated in the fight to introduce Divorce into this Country and that meant two campaigns on referendums, one in 1986 and one ten years later which won. Mags O'Brien was an activist and capaigner in both of these referendums and our comrade Padraic conducted the interview and asked her the inaudible questions.
