Unemployed, students and pensioners €5.00 Support TEEU craft workers in dispute at Green Isle foods Naas. The strike is now in its third week.

40 TEEU members are in dispute to secure the jobs of 7 members dismissed for alleged wrongdoing when the company’s IT department mistakenly supplied commercially sensitive boardroom information including a restructuring of the maintenance department that involved the redundancy of 6 members.

· The dispute is in its third week and industrial Black and Tans have been brought in from Britain to replace our members.

· The company has refused to meet with our union, attend the LRC or engage with an independent facilitator as recommended by the NIB, government, ICTU and IBEC.

· The company has received €42,868,634,44 in Irish state aid but refuses to engage with the industrial relations machinery of the state

· The ICTU has granted an all out picket but the 300 other workers in the company are not in any union.

Please give support to our fundraising event on Friday evening next and support these workers from being crushed by this anti-worker, anti union employer.
