On Friday 1st February Shell Oil will announce their profits for the year (last year they announced that they had made £20 billion). To mark this Shell to Sea in Belfast will be holding a candlelit vigil outside Belfast City Hall to remember the victims of Shell's money grabbing and to ask why they can't afford to send their gas refinery in Mayo offshore.

HOPI s hosting a public meeting in Dublin with Torab Saleth. He's an Iranian socialist who took part in the revolution of 1979. In exile he became the editor of the journal 'Socialism and Revolution' and is currently on the editorial board of the journal Critique and a prominent member of Workers Left Unity Iran.

There will be a special private screening of 'An Inconvenient Truth' in Dublin for trade union members and supporters.

The Dublin Council of Trade Unions will be launching their campaign on the health service at a public meeting at 6pm in Liberty Hall on Monday 11th February.

Demonstration at the WRC on Dorset Street on Saturday 15th December at 1pm.

Drivers from Harristown Garage are marching on Dublin Bus Head Office in O'Connell Street tomorrow (Wednesday 14th) . The march starts at 11am from the Garden of Remembrance on Parnell Square.
