La insurrección –el levantamiento armado del pueblo- ha estado siempre rondando al corazón del anarquismo. Los primeros documentos programáticos del movimiento anarquista, fueron redactados por Bakunin y por un grupo de republicanos europeos de izquierda insurgente en transición al anarquismo en la Italia del 1860. En ellos, no rompían con el insurreccionalismo, sino que con el republicanismo de izquierda; poco después, Bakunin tomaría parte en una insurrección en Lyon, en 1870.

In October ten members of the WSM travelled to London to attend the annual anarchist bookfair there. This is a massive event with around eighty individual stalls, films and forty or so meetings held by various groups. Thousands of people pass through the door of the bookfair over the day.

Nuestro objetivo Este nuevo boletín, Liberación, es la contraparte en castellano del periódico en lengua inglesa Workers Solidarity (Solidaridad Obrera), editado por el Workers Solidarity Movement (Movimiento de Solidaridad Obrera) de Irlanda. Mientras Liberación recién comienza, el WS se viene editando desde el año 1984. Tanto en el papel como en la versión digital, hemos llegado a muchos rincones del mundo, incluidos muchos países de habla hispana. Traducciones al castellano de nuestros artículos han circulado ampliamente por internet, así como por diversos medios de comunicación alternativos. Liberación aparece, entonces, a la luz del día como nuestro intento de poder facilitar el acceso a nuestras ideas e información a quienes se interesan en ellas desde las regiones en que se habla esta lengua. Así se expresa también nuestra voluntad de involucrarnos en el debate constructivo y enriquecedor sorteando las barreras impuestas por los lenguajes.

In the first of what will hopefully become a fortnightly anarchist reading group, we have decided to look at three short texts exploring the relationship between activism and theory. A discussion of the interaction between radical theory and movement practice seems like a rather obvious starting point to kickstart an anarchist reading group. All of the chosen articles are available free online and are short and snappy. The longest is a transcription of a round table discussion that flits and darts in conversational style over areas our own discussion might cover.
