Workers Solidarity Movement

Dublin Shell to Sea are holding a Race Night in Brokers (The Mercantile) on Dame Street on the 10th of October at 8pm. It promises to be a great night so please come along.

The first in a series of radio shows, produced by the Workers Solidarity Movement. This show is themed around the issue of public and private space. In particular we look at an autonomous social centre, Seomra Spraoi in Dublin.

We also look at the experiences of anarchists in Boston USA, who are helping people actively resist being evicted from there homes as a result of the "credit crisis" as well as the Irish government attack on ordinary people at this time. The panel includes WSM members and Mick Byrne from the Seomra Spraoi collective

TUF unions to hold protest outside Leinster House over NAMA plan to bail out banks on backs of workers

Shell to Sea campaigner Maura Harrington has received a 3 months sentence todayin court. She is currently en route to Mountjoy,there will be a protest at the jail from 6pm

In relation to the injunction taken by MTL to prevent the naming and shaming of scabs, see media links below, and update on the official site website .

The case is to resume again next Thursday 10th September at 11am.

We are calling on supporters to demonstrate at the High Court , gathering between 10.30 and 11am. This may be a full hearing of the case, and will likely continue for a number of hours.

The indications from the Labour Relations Commission is that of cautious optimism, to use a near meaningless cliche. There is still a way to go, and we cannot be certain of the companies true intent. We will keep you updated.
